Gregory Buckles - Dean of College Advising, St Paul’s School
Greg Buckles serves as the Dean of College Advising at St. Paul’s School. He brings more than 40 years of experience in education across independent schools and higher education. Over the course of his career, Buckles has served as an English teacher, football coach, and assistant head of school, developing a deep understanding of student development and school leadership. He previously served as Dean of Admission at Middlebury College, where he gained extensive expertise in selective college admissions, enrollment management, and financial aid. In his current role, he focuses on guiding students and families through the college process while aligning college counseling with institutional mission and values.
Ann Snyder - Vice President of Strategic Initiatives, NAIS
Ann Snyder is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). With more than 15 years of experience in education and nonprofit leadership, she specializes in school strategy, governance, and advancement. Prior to joining NAIS, Snyder served as Director of Independent and International Schools at the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), where she worked closely with school leaders on fundraising, enrollment, and long-term sustainability. At NAIS, she partners with boards and senior leadership teams nationwide to help schools navigate complex challenges while strengthening mission-driven strategy and institutional effectiveness.
